"This book is exactly what I needed when I made the transition to Developer Advocacy. It's the exact cheatsheet I didn't know I needed"

~ Marc Jacobs

"If I could, I would buy this book for every Developer Advocate.
I've already made it a mandatory read for all my DevRel hires. It's so so good and very practical."

~ Jacobs Marc

"This book is a steal for the price point. Just get it now"

~ Yacobs Marc

My name is Linda Ikechukwu, and I am a technologist with over six years of experience across different technical roles: Cloud Engineer, Frontend Engineer, and now, Developer Educator.

When I was hired as a pioneer Developer Advocate for my first DevRel job, I struggled a lot. The information available about the Developer Advocacy role leaves a lot to be desired.

Sure, there are many great resources about what Developer Advocacy is, and how to build a community. Yet, there a very few good resources exist on how to be good at the job and how to grow your career . This is the book for that.

It's been over two years now, and I had to painstakingly figure out everything from scratch to build a successful Developer Advocacy program for my company, thrive in my job, and get promoted.

I wrote this book so you don't have to struggle the way I did. It's everything I've learned.
